BBSI PARTNERING WORKSHOP (Ladies)
BBSI Partnering Workshop 2025
THE BBSI PARTNERING WORKSHOP IS FULL AT ALL THREE WEEKS of BBSI.
Please email bbsiworkshop@gmail.com for information regarding our waitlist.
North Carolina: July 28th – August 9th
The BBSI Partnering Workshop is for ladies interested in participating in a daily partnering class with the men at BBSI. Ladies will also take additional daily classes. For ladies, our North Carolina program is a HALF DAY intensive; the California program is a FULL DAY intensive.
Ladies must be age 12-18 in an intermediate to advanced ballet level. A video or in-person audition is required for the BBSI Partnering Workshop. Class size is very limited. There will be a wait list.
BBSI North Carolina: Dancers will have the option to attend both weeks, or choose one of the two weeks to attend. A tuition discount is offered to students who attend for both weeks.

VIDEO AUDITION
Video audition requirements:
All combinations should be done en pointe in the center for dancers with a minimum of two years en pointe. Video footage MUST be taken no more than 3 months prior to application. If the dancer (ages 10-12) is not yet en pointe and would still like to apply, please send us an email for more information.
- Adage combination (show both sides)
- Échappé and Passé pointe work combination
- Turning combination
- Grand Allegro combination
Note: BBSI does not provide personal feedback for auditions. Not submitting the requested combinations (submitting a variation instead, etc.) may negatively impact audition results. We keep will auditions open until we reach maximum capacity. Dancers must re-audition each year so we can assess their progress.
IN-PERSON AUDITION
Instead of submitting a video, ladies can elect to take an audition class in-person in North Carolina at International Ballet Academy on March 8, 2025 from 10:00-11:30am.
Please wear a plain black leotard and bring flat shoes and pointe shoes to the audition.
